Win On & Off The Field

You’re not imagining things.

Spring, summer, fall, winter, trial season.

Working dogs live in cycles of output and recovery, and these cycles can take a toll on their physical, mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

If your dog seems more reactive, inflamed, worn down, or harder to regulate as the seasons shift, you’re not imagining it. Their body (and nervous system) is working overtime to adapt.

What’s Inside:

Nutrition tips backed by canine physiology

Movement & training adjustments for better recovery

Herbal supports for inflammation + focus

Nervous system care for recovery & regulation

Actionable guides to stay ahead of the game

Integrative methods that foster a more fulfilling relationship with your dog

Why I Created This Guide

I’ve been where you are – wanting to give my dog every advantage, but feeling unsure how to adapt our wellness routine to the season.

This guide is what I wish I had when I started integrating bodywork, nutrition, and training from a truly holistic lens.

Now, I’m sharing it with the working dog community—so you can train smarter, recover better, and partner with the season instead of fighting it.

“I struggled to find the right food for my two dogs, but Charline and I worked together to determine a raw / kibble combination that works for both my older and younger dogs. She alleviated my anxiety, and pointed me in the right direction!”

Get To Know Me

I specialize in providing sport dog handlers with personalized, holistic strategies to keep their dogs performing at their peak—helping them stay injury-free, focused, and ready to succeed.

I’ve been working with animals since childhood — my first riding lesson was in 1989, and my first job was as a veterinary technician in the mid-90s. My passion for holistic health solutions grew from addressing health concerns in both myself and my dogs.

Integrative Canine was born in May 2020 after I lost my first working German Shepherd to hemangiosarcoma. His crossing over ignited my commitment to optimizing the health and performance of working dogs, and their handlers.

“You provide more value than any vet I have ever spoken to.”

“Charline really helped me sort out my dog Penny’s health issues when the local vets gave me poor advice, and I’m now successfully managing her EPI.

She also helped me with some SI issues that my horse Callie was experiencing, and has given me suggestions on KT tape applications for my horses as well. As a result, I’ve seen improved performance and recovery on our long-distance trail rides.”
